EARLY AND LATE VERSION NOW AVAILABLE!
This short shifter is based on the original M10/M30 shifters and is a direct replacement for the original. It shortens the throw of the lever for crisper shifting and less interference with the console or seats. It incorporates the same ergonomic bends as the original and includes new mounting hardware with ball cups, rubber grommets, spring, washers, and clips. Both early (pre March 1974) and late (March 1974 on) versions are available for ALL VINTAGE BMWs from the early 1960s to the 1980s.
All stainless steel construction with oil-impreganted bronze bushings.
We also include a bushing alignment tool to help with the installation. See pics.
