We have used the original 2002 shift platform design to create shift platforms for the Getrag 245 and Getrag 240 5-speed conversions.  Not only does it fit the 2002 5-speeds perfectly, but it looks great!  The kit includes a transmission specific DSSR, new silent blocks, new rod joint with bronze bushing, 
The shift towers are made of stainless steel and come with the lower ball cup installed and the bushing/connectors for the rear mount.  Because the design is based on the original shift platform, installation is straight forward and uses all the original hardware and silent blocks.
To create a much more solid shifting experience, we've added a rear mount support that bolts directly into the tunnel (requires one 8mm hole that is hidden under the center console).  This replaces the brace that normally runs from the shift platform to the transmission.
This is the same mounting method that all later BMWs use and only requires drilling one 8mm hole in the tunnel for the rear support.  The bolt for the rear mount is hidden under the center console.
