That’s right! We have adapted the ATE T51 brake booster used on the 2000CS and 2002tii for use with the E9 brake system. You gain about 1 1/4" of clearance from the intake system.  And, because the tii booster is a dual diaphragm version, you loose nothing in vacuum boost.  This is the same ATE T51 brake booster as the BMW original with a modified connection rod to the pedal—just bolt it on and go. All these boosters are professionally rebuilt and tested. Each booster includes a new OEM master cylinder to brake booster O-ring, mounting hardware, and an ATE T51 sticker.
